A Note from the Director, Deborah Coconis:
I was drawn to the school first, as a parent, when I was looking for a preschool for my son. What I loved about MCP then still holds true today: It provides a nurturing social environment and dynamic learning opportunities. Each teacher is invested in every student's preschool experience. I love the feeling of community among the families, witnessing childhood bonds form through first friendships among the children, and the role of the preschool in the wider community of Millbrook.
I believe it is our great responsibility as preschool teachers to honor the nature of early childhood and each child's unique self—to be a helpful resource for parents and caregivers, to model respect and to inspire a life of learning. At MCP, we learn and play in a cheerful space that has been thoughtfully designed and equipped for a balanced variety of engaging learning opportunities. Come visit us!
